💥 Workplace Wisdom - We all know this — Burnout doesn’t happen overnight.


Burnout builds gradually over time, manifesting when:

❎ Saying “YES” becomes a default.

❎ Individuals take on responsibilities beyond their role.

❎ Boundaries are unclear or not communicated.

❎ The work environment keeps the nervous system in a constant state of ALERT. 

▶️ However, the most critical phase in Burnout is often overlooked.

When individuals begin to define and assert boundaries - 

The immediate response from the people around is often harder because they are not used to such behaviour.

Expectations push back.

People react.

Internal discomfort increases.

Outcome - This discomfort phase can feel heavier than the burnout itself.

Don't worry, this discomfort is not a setback.

It is a natural adjustment period — both internally and externally.

Sustainable performance is not built on constant availability.

It is built on clear boundaries, aligned expectations, and the ability to protect one’s energy with intent.
