 💥 My Story - Tough Bosses 

I once worked with a boss who micro-managed everything.

Every draft, every line, every design, every idea.
Review - Feedback - Redo… and Repeat.

Our team was frustrated — not because we didn’t want to improve, but because we felt we were never trusted.

One day, instead of another formal discussion, I casually invited the boss for lunch.
No agenda.
No slide deck.
Just a simple human conversation.

And that’s when we learnt something surprising —the micro-management wasn’t about control…it was about fesr of failure and pressure from above. 

Work didn’t magically turn perfect overnight.
but the tone changed,
the trust improved,

We stopped seeing each other as “boss vs team”.
It became people trying to do good work together.

Sometimes, clarity comes where hierarchy takes a break. 😊

React like a dog, or respond like a human?

Anger makes you lose the battle you’ve already won.  Take a breath, take control. I want to share an incident from years ago that stuck with me like Fevicol —it clung to my memory and completely transformed the way I perceive anger. One evening, I was out for my usual walk when I noticed a few street dogs resting by the roadside. Nearby, some children were playing. One of the boys began teasing a dog, and, unsurprisingly, the dog reacted—barking furiously and chasing after him. Startled, the boy ran away. Instinctively, I tried to intervene and shoo the dog away. The dog, now agitated, turned its attention to me and barked even more loudly. In that moment, something clicked. I had a sudden realisation: it's so easy to provoke a dog—just a gesture, a shout, or even driving past on a scooter can set it off. The term "monkey brain" comes from ancient wisdom traditions and refers to our constantly active, restless mind. Just like a monkey, who is always moving and jumping from one branch to another. We have roughly 60,000 thoughts in a day. This mental chatter can leave us feeling drained, distracted, and disconnected from the present moment. But the good news?
